Winter is the perfect time to practice Yoga, for everyone, and also for skiers, cyclists and all who may experience tight hips, hamstrings, and lower backs. Winter Yoga helps to rejuvenate and refresh those tired muscles, boosts the immune system and de-stresses the mind and body. Winter, the yin season, is a time for storing and reserving energy. To stay balanced during winter, conserve the yang energy. Nourish yourself with a day of Yoga. Take into account the seasonal change and stay in poses a little longer, stay focused and at ease as you transition from pose to pose, moment by moment, movement by movement, nurtured and nourished.
Morning: Kriya cleanings practices, Soothing Standing Series,Softening Backbends, Gentle Twists, Energising Inversions, Pranayama, Mantras and Kirtan. Afternoon time includes, Mindful Meditation, Restorative Yoga, Supine Seated practice Extended Yoga Nidra (nourishing yogic relaxation)
£30.00 – Includes Light Lunch, Refreshments, Jala Neti pot and Practice Sheet. This Yoga workshop is held in a beautiful, spacious venue, with natural light, Yoga in the heart of Nottingham.
